Steel production uses iron ore, coke, and other raw materials, and is completed through core processes such as sintering, ironmaking, steelmaking, steel rolling, and supporting hydrogen production and tail gas treatment. Among them, hydrogen is a key process gas, by-product gas, and potential high-risk gas in the production process. The necessity of its generation and monitoring is mainly reflected in the following aspects, which is in line with the current green and low-carbon development direction of the steel industry:
1. Concentration monitoring of hydrogen production area from coke oven gas
2. Concentration monitoring in the smelting process of blast furnace and converter
3. Concentration monitoring of hydrogen storage and transportation pipelines
4. Monitoring of hydrogen fuel concentration in heating furnace
5. Hydrogen leakage monitoring in production workshops and key areas
